Educated as a Naval Architect (Dipl-Ing.) at Hamburg University of Technology Richard, started his carrer as a Vessel Performance Supervisor and Analyst at the A.P. Møller Maersk Group in 2012. In July 2014 he founded his engineering company Ideas & Engineering Marioth in Itzehoe, Germany through which he supported major ship operators with professional Vessel Performance consultancy. In July 2018 the company was renamed to Idealship GmbH.
Richard keeps track of the big picture. He is specialized in efficient vessel operation and how to measure it. With his expertise he conducts professional vessel performance analytics and through his innovative mindset problems are solved with excellence.
